Welcome to Baby Naay's World

Welcome my beautiful people! My name is Nayja Simone Silva aka Baby.Naay, owner of Itz Baby.Naay’s World LLC and multiple other businesses. I am a licensed cosmetologist who specializes in braiding, but not limited to braiding only. I also provide hair services such as locs, natural hair styles, traditional sew-ins, crochet, ponytails and more. The atmosphere at Baby Naay's World reflects creativity and passion, ensuring a delightful experience for all our clients. With a comfortable and relaxing environment, we provide a space that allows our clients to embrace their unique style through their hair. Additionally, each session includes personalized tips to help you maintain your look and keep your hair flawless.

Here is a little background on me. I graduated from Franklin High school of Somerset, Nj and continued my education at Montclair State University graduating class of 2021. I received my bachelors degree in sociology with a double minor in child advocacy and social work. During my senior year of college I applied for cosmetology school spring of 2021, receiving my acceptance letter summer of 2021. I then started my journey to receiving my cosmetology license in fall of 2021. After 10 months of day in and day out hard work I graduated receiving my diploma from Piscataway Adult
Vocational school and passing my state board cosmetology exam in June of 2022.

 

You may ask, “well how did your career change from social work to
cosmetology services?” Well let me explain! During high school braiding
hair became a hobby of mine and I fell in love. I continued my hobby
learning and became a self taught braider. As life continued into college I still did hair as a hobby. During my junior year of college covid hit and it hit hard. As everything shut down and everyone had to stay home I very quickly realized that people still enjoyed feeling beautiful and kept together even when they could not go anywhere. At that moment I made the decision to get my license and be my own boss!

 

I am now 25 years old opening my very first salon suite and I couldn’t be more excited. With 10 years of experience and many more experiences to come I am ready! Thank you for taking a moment to get to know me and I pray that I get the opportunity to bless you in my chair!
